In cooperation with the Food Bank program in South Korea, SPC Happy Foundation has been providing tasty bread, confectioneries, and ice creams from SPC’s affiliates to social welfare facilities and needy households all over the country. Especially, we are operating “SPC Happy Cars,” where we deliver our fresh-from-the-oven bread products to small welfare facilities and remote areas where help is not readily available.
SPC Happy Fund
SPC Happy Fund has been providing rehabilitation support for handicapped children in low-income families and social welfare facilities. While such children were born with congenital handicaps, we are helping them hold on to their hopes and dreams of independence and rehabilitation by providing them with funds for medical operation, treatment, and rehabilitation aid tools.
SPC & Soul Happy Bakery Academy
SPC Happy Foundation has been running vocational bakery training programs to help in the vocational rehabilitation of handicapped people and to help them obtain independence. In cooperation with Soul Bakery, a vocational rehabilitation facility for the handicapped, we are providing vocational bakery training to the handicapped.
Vocational Bakery Training Program for Teenagers in Need
SPC Happy Foundation has been providing vocational bakery training to teenagers in social welfare facilities, juvenile North Korean defectors, and teenagers from multicultural and low-income families to help them acquire bakery technical licenses and find jobs in SPC Group’s subsidiaries.
SPC Happy Scholarship for Moonlighting College Students
Every year, we select 120 working college students who have to work long hours due to insufficient economic support from their families and provide them with 50% tuition fee scholarships.
